DESIGN DETAILS

This project involved the transformation of a compact studio space into a fully functional, professional environment for interior design work. The goal was to create an efficient yet aesthetically pleasing workspace that promotes the health and wellbeing of the individuals using it, all while reflecting the business's ethos and design sensibilities.

The layout was carefully planned to incorporate distinct zones, ensuring a seamless workflow while maintaining a sense of openness and connection. The studio features separate areas for two designers to work, as well as designated spaces for informal and formal meetings with clients, along with ample storage solutions for design materials, samples, and books.

Custom cabinetry maximises storage space, housing an extensive design library and essential office equipment. The kitchen, compact yet functional, includes a breakfast bar for casual dining. With the added challenge of working within a fixed footprint, internal walls were strategically added to create separate zones while ensuring the space remains cohesive and versatile.
